Chennai, the capital of the state of Tamil Nadu, was the home to Fort St. George, built in 1644 and now a museum showcasing the city’s roots as a British military garrison and East India Company trading outposts. The city has come of age with many leading hotels coming up there and with increased number of travellers the demand is surely on the rise. Today, Chennai has frequent business travellers coming in from around the globe and are always looking for a stay. Chennai is the biggest industrial and commercial centre in South India. The city is also referred to as the ‘Detroit of India’ for its automobile industry. It is the sixth-largest city and fourth-most populous metropolitan area in the country and 31st-largest urban area in the world.

On my recent trip to the city, I was amazed by the captivating hospitality and charming features of the hotel rooms in Chennai. I had booked my stay at Lemon Tree Hotel Chennai and would love to come back here again.  There are a large number of hotels near DLF Sez Chennai that will match the requirements of a discerning traveller. Lemon Tree Hotels offer the perfect amalgamation of luxury and comfort in their hospitality. Besides the grandeur of the hotel rooms in Chennai, one can never miss out on the eclectic mix of flavours from the Chettinad land. I really enjoyed the meal there and was thoroughly in awe of the enriching flavours. I would definitely comeback to this hotel whenever I visit Chennai in the future.
